# `Lightstreamer.Error`

A protocol-level error reported by the Lightstreamer server.

The `:code` is surfaced verbatim from the wire (`CONERR`/`REQERR`/`END`).
Notable `CONERR` codes:

  * `1` — user/password check failed (never retried automatically)
  * `2` — the requested adapter set is unavailable
  * `5` — the server cannot accept new sessions; retry later
